Has anyone had any luck with removing scratches from a pasenger door window glass? It's 40 year old glass and not sure if there's anything I can do to remove or make scratch less noticeable. Thanks!

I called Eastwood, they sell quite a few scratch removal products, talked with them, they said the side windows is a no go,the heat in the scratch removal is the problem ??
That is what I found out,if you find something out different please let me know.

I have heard of guy's using toothpaste and 000 steel wool. (sounds nutty I know!)

I've heard about using toothpaste, also, and I believe it works. However, typically if you can feel the scratch with a finger nail, it is most likely too deep to buff out. You can also check your local auto parts store. They will probably have several different brands of cleaners that might help, but most likely will not clear it up all that much better than a good windexing.

Put super glue on it, when it sets up use a sharp razor blade to remove the excess.

I've used the Super Glue trick and it helped a lot. Not invisible but very good.
Toothpaste is a good polish for glass but I wouldn't use it with any power tool.

A good buddy of mine has a 56 Newport that had a few scratches on the glass. He bought some polish from a jeweler and it worked very well..it was a bit pricey
