Have what appears to be 64 variable speed wiper switch with push button fluid in the centre ... Fluid button works wipers turn on but do not change speed at all ... always going at monsoon rate ... there is what appears to be a relay on a long arm as well ... what is that for? New to the crate and new to Mopars ... any help would be appreciated ... must be a million posts on this topic but new to forum and still trying to navigate all the mountains of info ...

Thanks!

My 64 polara 500 is either go or no go, there isn't any speed differential. I dont think variable speed was out till 66/67.

hmm ... assuming that this switch is the original, then why can I turn the knob to the right almost 180 degrees?

I dont know. Mine turns about that about that much also, but it's all or nothing.

The variable switch was an option for the 64s!That is relay for the variable wipers. It might be bad, could be the switch itself!I've never had the relay go bad though!
