Hey super-bee, when & where on EC's? I was 4th ACCS from 81-84. SAC rules!

Had a 67D 500 from loring air force base in Maine. With 20,000 original miles all original with la318 5 sp and split rear with a dump body.... at 70 mph was a shopping cart... loaded 28,000 pounds of junk metal and more fire wood than I could believe... it would start at 50 below zero after sitting months... old dodge military was literally bulletproof.

What military manual was that from? :)

Never volunteer for anything!! Author....ME!

I was in the AF and never flew on any kind of a military plane the whole time I was in.....go figure. And all of my flights to get to military destinations were on chartered commercial flying buses that were more like over crowded cattle cars and they all sucked except for the one that took me home lol. The worse land ride was the 90 mile trip from Rhein-Main AB to Hahn AB on a military school bus with just 3 on it and one was the driver and it took 3 hours. The flight over took 8 hours and after the bus ride I was wondering what I was getting into. Guess I shouldn't complain....didn't see any combat action and made it home alive...

Great to see another AF guy!UH-1F thru UH1-N Gunships 1970-76, RF-4 Phantoms 76-80
