was a 318/904 SE car, now a 383/A833 clone.

Original gunmetal gray (winchester gray), bench seats (not OE material, but not gaudy either), paint is driver condition (as I will drive it anywhere) has some scratches and blemishes, hideaways work flawlessly, has 3.23 8 3/4 SG, front and rear spoiler (front is fiberglass), 71 R/T style hood with louvered insert, all gauges function correctly, OE radio is AM/FM (still works), 15x7 & 15x10 shoes, engine has 2500 miles on fresh rebuild (9.5 slugs, 516 heads with 2.08/1.74 valves), bellhousing is not OE (stamped steel), converted front drums to disc brakes, dash is in great condition no cracks, all electrical works except pass side brake lights (just have to ground it better).

Any fair estimates appreciated, I know it is not a all expensive car, but I do not want to sell myself short either. I will be selling this car ultimately to fund another project, as well as a 73 roadrunner I have.

Thank you for your input. I will answer any questions, but please do not use this as a venue to criticize my car just because you feel you are a keyboard concourse judge, because I am not asking for a judging, I am asking for an appraisal.

take into consideration I live in Kansas.

I know they are not the greatest pics, but here ya go... oh yeah.. 99.5% rust free.. why this.. because no car is absolutely rust free... ever.

sold one about 2 years ago, same car('73), had a 440 but tired, no spoilers, painted years ago, 727, 3:23 gears, had some rust that was fixed, hideaway headlights, flat hood, I sold it for $4500. So I could guess $7500+???

you could look here for a guide as to what it might be:

Just me, But I wouldn't sell that for Less then $12,000.00 , Its a done car and looks like it shows well.

Why didn't you just ask MoparStu? He's standing right there (I assume you know or met him :) ). Seriously it looks like a ~ $12K+ car give or take however it's extremely difficult to tell w/o seeing the fit/finish of the interior. That makes or breaks a car to me. If the interior is very well executed the number would go up. One recommendation if you are open to it, is i would change to a stock looking Rallye or Magnum 500 style wheel at least for pictures you will post with the ad if you have them available (post pics of with the wheels you have on it now and stock ones) - you don't have to let them go with the car when you sell it. Also, wasn't the louvered hood supposed to be black with the black stripe? I would get it painted black before you advertise. I'm not doing the concourse thing just some recommendations to give you the best shot at a sale. Presentation is everything to many buyers. It's a nice car and I hope you get what you need for it.

yes it was, but since the louver is an R/T and not a superbee option, I dared to be different. I wont change it, not because of your suggestion, but because the louvered insert is around 600 bux compared to superbee insert being 250-300... for 300 dollars difference, the new buyer can deal with it.

again, i do not need to sell, so I will keep it the way I like it until the price comes along that I like.. Thank you for your suggestions though, I do think that your rim/tire suggestion is spot on.

Interior is in great shape, no tears, dash is perfect, just a black with red cloth interior that is not stock, not really matching the gunmetal gray.

904 - automatic transmission (the better one being the 727)
SE - Special Edition
A833 - 4 speed manual transmission

It sure is a great looking car and a 71 is the first in this body style clone or not at 99.5% rust free, drive train ect, Id would think and MHO is anything under 10,000 would be an insult. I wish you luck in the sale, its a beauty..
