This past weekend went to the WP swap meet in Detriot . I saw a lots of parts still up there in the price range. If the economy is post to be so tuff way is every thing still high. I wasn't really looking anything but if I would of found something I probably would of picked it up. Example intake's for a 273 no less than 75.00. Then I walk a around saw intake's for a 440 and 383 20.00-25.00. I guess I dont get it. If everything is post to be so bad way is everything still right up there in price.
Yeah I saw some good deals. But if you don't want it sell to for a decent price.

Probably one of the good deals was the 64 Dodge Polar out in front. I've seen this car two times before and I can't beleive it has'nt sold. The guy is asking $8,500. It's not a running driving car, but everthing is there an I do mean everthing. the enging is in it tran. It has some issue but nothing I don't think cant wait. The only thing I can figure way the car hasn't sold is the guy won't move on the price.
If I wasn't waiting to go back to work I think I would diffently be looking at this. Thank U State of MI.

Well that's is my 2 cent.

Parts prices NEVER fluctuate like the prices of the cars themselves, even in bad economies, Rarity and Desirability still Dictate the parts prices.,.....This is the main reason when car prices are down, it makes some cars more valuable as parts cars that project cars. and with car prices low and parts prices high it makes it really easy to invest more into a car than what it's worth and then get stuck with it,......It's a sure fire way to go Belly Up.

I was there too, I was impressed with the selection of parts, last time I went to that meet it was no where near as big. Lots of pricey parts and a few good deals too. I didn't buy anything either but I did sell a couple of extra parts I have gathered over the past couple of years. Did see a lot of people I knew and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I saw that Dodge as well;not a bad piece. A little rust issue here and there, but for someone looking to build a go-fast,a decent choice.

I'm kicking myself for some stuff I saw and delayed purchasing-only to decide to purchase,go back to the spot, and discover that someone smarter than me already bought said item. Lessons learned...

I got a spot at the winter chrysler classic event.2-20-2010 columbus ohio.Stop by and say hi.I will not have a bunch of stuff.pricing will be low.I am bringing extra chairs for people who need a break.I was thinkin of bringin a wagon for people who want to use it to haul parts.

Will have to see about that travel?

Hey Al I seen U a few times carrying arms loads out. So U must of found some good deals. Yeah, yes there was some good deals there and like you said 69HEMICORNETR/T no madder on the times parts prices really don't move much.
I guess when your not employed and waiting to go back to work almost everything is high.
