Take a look at this video. There would have been little to no warning. Those poor kids at camp didn’t have a chance.

X2....That's insane and an act of God, you can run, but you can't hide. This truly breaks my heart. This will change many people's lives and some forever. Prayers sent!

You'd think the camp would have an weather radio and a safety plan.

Given the area was the scene of another flash flood causing multiple deaths around 40-years ago, Bush one had directed that the camps have a weather radio as an added layer of alert. Haven’t heard anything about it so far. I had one and it did give off a loud alarm often and for any weather alerts within 75-miles. That was a frustration. This was before cell phones. Nice though if cell phone service is questionable and in an area called ‘flash-flood-alley’.
