Hey all, I need to do a rear lower passenger quarter patch on the drivers side of my 73 Charger. I did a full skin on the drivers side using tabco, and it fits well. However, it's not the most accurate around the edges. The AMD 72 charger skin is more accurate but has a different upper style...
Hey guys... something very unusual is going on where I live. It's been a fairly wet year, and we've seen more black widows than ever before recently, and it's becoming a threat.
A few weeks ago, my dad got a misterious bite, which started to give him muscle spasms and stomach pain. Thank...
Hey guys, I've been working on the resto-mod of my 73 Hardtop Charger. Not a very rusty car at all, but driver's quarter panel was badly damaged in an accident many years ago (before I bought the car).
A new quarter was necessary. Full panels aren't available aside from new old stock, and many...
Yes, I know a pickup isn't a B-body. But it's mechanicals and electricals are similar...
Anyways my daily driver is a single cab 1982 Dodge Ram D-350. No A/C. Over the past year, the heater blower motor only works on the lowest setting... what should I start diagnosing? I'm not an electrical...
Looks like more repop parts are gonna be produced! Now I don't have to worry about finding bumpers for my 73 that aren't bent into a pretzel!
Hopefully we'll see some quarter panels in the next few year, maybe even roof skins or fenders. Doors would be nice, but I'm just dreaming now.
I have heard several times that the 71-4 Chargers and RoadRunners/Satellites are more aerodynamic than their predecessors. How much truth is in that statement?
I have thought about it quite a bit, and I can believe it. No vent windows to cause drag, more rounded-off edges, optional chin...
This has been my daily driver this year, but I really am not a chevy guy and want to sell.
It's mostly stock, but with a few upgrades : (hooker?) shorty headers, flowmaster american thunder cat-back exhaust, and american racing torque thrust 16" wheels. As far as I know, it's all stock...
I don't have a 75+ b body, but while going thru ebay I saw this part... Maybe one of you might need it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-NOS-1975-78-Charger-SE-Cordoba-LH-Trunk-Floor-Pan-Extension-4015717-/222267622565?hash=item33c02ec4a5:g:CDoAAOSwpLNX76NK&vxp=mtr
So currently I have been replacing sone sheetmetal on my 1973 Charger. Using advice from others, when in making a "pable sandwich" I strip down the e-coat off the areas to be welded. I have been using the Napa brand TEC-nique zinc weld thru primer with great success.
However, I do have one...
I think most of us enjoy a timelapse video here and there, but this one makes me sick to my stomach. Reminds me to carefully inspect any vehicle I buy for shoddy craftsmanship. If you're gonna do anything on a car, DO IT RIGHT or don't do it at all!
Are the 71-4 Charger deck filler panels the same as the 71-2 or 73-4 Plymouth panels? Just asking out of curiousity. It seems like they would considering all 71-4 B body 2 dr cars all shared the same roof skin and rear window glass.
Thanks. - David.
Earlier today, I was looking at my phone and have seen all sorts of tornado/severe weather alerts for the west. I decided to go outside and grill some hamburgers. It began to hail and rain really hard, so I walked around to the backyard, and behold.... A tornado. I reported the twister, and...
For those who may concern, the 1973 and 1974 Dodge and Plymouth B bodies had slightly revised suspension systems to accomodate rubber bushings to make the ride smoother and quiet.
I see all the time leaf springs for sale (new) for 66-72 b bodys. However, 73 and up used a different sized...
I came across this website today, and It seems too good to be true. New engine blocks, 6 pack manifolds, etc. They claim to be part of chrysler, but I don't see their site listed under mopar/direct connection.
Here's a link: http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/
From what I have seen and understand, small block cars had a different passenger-side inner fender than big block cars. The big block cars had a large section cut out with a rubber splash shield in place.
I have two questions, my Charger was a 318 car, currently becoming cloned into a...
I was going to install this system on my 1973 Charger... but then the trans blew and the restoration began. This is the 600 HP go-efi system (matte black) and included fuel command center.
Packaging has been opened, but nothing has been installed or test fitted. Essentially brand new. Selling...
Found a couple of hard to reach rust areas on my 73 Charger, and I'm wondering if this is a common place to have rust. One big area of concern, is next to the trunk gutter, behind the quarter panel end cap. There's some rust holes on both sides of the car, and it's pretty much caged in and hard...
