Owned since 2018. Selling to reduce maintenance, insurance and storage fee costs. Need to thin out the number of vehicles owned. I DO NOT have any specs on the Motor and trans build. RB 440 , cast-iron head, mild hydraulic FT cam. Functional air grabber system. Edelbrock carb, not sure on CFM? Cold Case aluminum radiator with shroud and fixed fan. A833 4spd Trans, New clutch. 8 3/4 rear, 741 case, with 3:73 Sure grip. The entire car was redone prior to my purchase. Picture of it on rotisserie. Ive put on around 800 miles since owned. Most gauges, lights, and controls presently work , including the key buzzer and AM radio LOL . Speedometer bounces at 30-35 and will not move past that speed. Factory tach works good. Front and rear suspension all replaced. Front sway bar and LCA stiffeners added. Handles nicely around corners. Frame rails are tied. Manual Disc brakes on front and drum in rear. Power steering. 2.5” exhaust with Dynomax super turbos to rear bumper. Has Schumacher Tri-Y headers for starter/plug clearance. Interior is redone and in good condition. Glass looks to be original and in fair condition. Paint is a urethane single stage and shines good. Has some orange peel through out. Doors open/close nicely, windows roll up/down. Its a tight car with very few rattles/squeaks or wind noise driving down road. Easily starts hot and cold, drives out great, shifts fine, and never EVER overheats. Overall ,in my opinion, the car is pretty nice.

  • No build sheet
  • Have fender tag but rusted out badly, to the point of unreadable.
  • Nothing matches fender tag. Was told that when bought
  • 1968 side stripes
  • Drips oil from pan or seal? Can't tell where from.
  • Has been chassis Dyno tuned during my ownership. 353hp @ 5140 RPM to wheels, with 430 foot pound TQ @ 3300 RPM
  • Some paint peeling ,inside of trunk, up high, where new quarters were installed. Probably not cleaned well?
  • Not been to track under my ownership, car shows and cruise only. Always garage kept.
Have a clean/clear title in my name. Located in SE/PA in the 17603 area code. Will help your shipper load up. Best outcome is to come look at/inspect in person. I have a lift to check out underneath. Here it run, go for drive. Sit down, throw a beer back, and ask any and all questions you may have. The price is $39,750. Considering other prices I've seen for similar condition GTX’s, seems like a decent starting point. Not looking for any trades ,as I'm thinning the amount of vehicles I own.

Ive tried to describe the condition honestly and best I can. The car was purchased with most everything completed by prior owner. Work was performed by a mopar guy, out of Iowa, that owns a paint and body shop. For any questions or additional pictures use the PM. I am on here most nights to get back.

Was car originally an automatic? Or was 8 3/4" rear a replacement of a Dana that went bad? I'm guessing 23 spline A833?

All good questions that i have no answer for. Was told by prior owner that nothing matched the badly rusted out fender tag?

I was gonna ask the same question.

Can you post the VIN minus the last six digits?

I was gonna ask the same question.

How long have you owned it?
I have a similar car. Not close to matching numbers. Tag, VIN and title says RS23. So I lovingly call it my '69 GTXish. (Just to my Mopar friends.)

Mopar 505. Is the car's dash VIN RS23? At least start to rule out a Satellite clone?

First 7 of the vin please, not just first 4

Has has lower dash, but 69 upper pad, yet appears to be 68 color of red . Or it was originally an AIR car , ( which would explain the lower pad.) But still much wrong color for a 69

No lower 69 GTX trim on a real 69 GTX is a deterrent. At least it is for me

has the 69 side marker lights

The Vin makes it a 69
The VIN makes it a GTX. (And thats not even 100%) It's very likely a '69. But '69 what?

Let us know the first 7 of the VIN? That can help alot.

Here's the vin.......

Cool. St. Louis plant '69 GTX.

Thanks. And the rivets look correct.

were the mufflers changed out after the photo looks like flow masters not dyno max

Pretty car. "A" is Lynch Rd, not St. Louis (G). Interior looks like '69 red vs '68 burgundy. '68 exterior side trim instead of '69 MAY be related to expense of the correct '69 moldings, stripe & blackout, but there would need to be a paper trail & confirmation on that. Original 4-speed GTX should be 18-spline with Dana 60. Then again, a lot can happen in 54 years - parts get stolen or swapped for $, etc...

How much?
In the paragraph under the bullet points in Post #1, the OP writes, "Have a clean/clear title in my name. Located in SE/PA in the 17603 area code. Will help your shipper load up.
