OKAY HERE IS THE THING....

GOOD NEWS

  1. I found the root of a very bad coolant leak
  2. I found out that my ticking engine was caused by a busted rocker arm
  3. i extracted the very worn cam and lifters with ALMOST no prob

THE VERY VERY BAD

Upon Installing the cam I notice that i does not have the notch that the cam gear slides over!!! meaning it cant and WONT catch nor will the fuel pump work!!!

i looked at the old cam and it doesn't look like the notch is removable....

ALSO is it possible to have the cam pushed too far back? because mine was to the point where it looked like the lifters were overlapped, that is until i pulled it out a little now it seems that it stays in place but not sure if that was normal...

i will get pics up in the morning
