Superbird question - under hood insulation

I have a Superbird and I was wondering if they came with the under hood insulation pad that clips into the underside of the hood. A well known Superbird expert told me they all had it, but I have seen elsewhere where others say they did not have the insulation pad. Any definitive word on this?

They did NOT all have it, so whom ever your "expert" is is not. Only came on a J55 coded car with full undercoat!

Thank you! I have seen that same info before and that is what I was going to go with, until I heard the other opinion. Nice cars!

Mine is not an opinion, it is fact! Very few Birds left Clairepoint sporting a hood pad.

Given the modified Coronet hood I'm amazed the J55 cars even retained their, or subsequently received, a hood pad.
