does anyone know of a company that will insure my 69 barracuda and 70 super bee for collision and theft based on appraisal values as an everyday driver?

All insurance companys that cover vehicles with a "declaired value" policy will require a standard "everyday vehicle" insurance policy for at least one driver vehicle. Declared value policys usually include a restricted driving clause, (shows, events, repairs), of 2000/3000 miles anually. I was able to use my girl friends policy as our daily use vehicle and insure my two collector vehicles under a declaired value policy. My 64 Dodge crew cab is my daily driver.... And I used my 65 Coronet for three long distance trips last summer... one over 2200 miles and all collector car related events, so restricted use is subjective.
i am searching right now, i have calls into allstate and state farm to see if i can get a daily driver policy for my car, including comp and collision, with unlimited mileage on appraised value.... i'll let you know how it goes...
I have full coverage on mine and allowed 6,000 miles a year, as far as daily driver I don't know if they would give it to me as a daily driver unless I put regular plates on it. I have antique plates so im not permitted use as a everyday driver. You could check with them and see what they have to offer, its called Infinity Classic Collectors. They seem to be reasonable at 130 a year.. They have towing services where you can make them bring a low-boy instead of a tow truck if you have a break down. so far i have no problem with them. hope this will help, I don't have the number right off but a Google search should get you to them if you wish. No proof just some pics...He really didn,t need the pics either...Restrictions are 4000 miles...Give them a call you got nothing to lose!!

That is pretty good, I had to have 4 pictures, front back, and both sides, same for plates.. Nice GTX. I always thought out of all of them the 67 was my favorite, love the body on them.. Ron
I have Grudy but its a limited use policy. Its also very inexpensive. I use State Farm for my familys cars. Thsy said they would insure My 68 but the cost was very prohibitive.
ok,after much research, progressive insurance will write a policy for stated value, comp, collision, unlimited mileage...$500 deductible.... for $1k per year....i can live with that...
I have a buddy that sells paint and supplies to many of the area body shops and they say Progressive is by far the worst when filing a claim.Just my 2cents worth.
Hagerty classified my Satellite as "modified" and wanted over $900/yr. for 100% replacement value on certified appraisal of $55,000. Grundy wanted $565 and with a copy from a certified appraisor, Conden Skelly gave me 100% replacement value up to $55,000 for $360/yr. They're also listed as the oldest insurer of classic cars in the country.
