Whats dash came in the 70 GTX, was there a rallye option? I bought one but it's to long ?? What were the options on a dash in 70 for the GTX and did they have a different metal frame? What are my options I have a sport satellite.. cut it to make it fit?

No Rallye dash option for GTX or RR. Rallye dash was standard. GTX had simulated woodgrain applique. Optional was the tic-toc tach.

so I'm effed unless I modify the dash... awesome..LOL
Whats the best way to do what I am doing?

Oh... yes, dash frames are different. I have found rallye dash frames on ebay and parts cars on craigslist. here's one. There is at least one person out there who has modified his dash to accept the rallye cluster. Keep asking, you will find somebody. I assume you're wanting to put in a rallye dash?

The rallye dash for the 70 is what I call the Charger dash with the round gauges. The frame is different and I believe the lower pad is too. You can probably solve your problem with the frame using tin snips. And if someone had a rallye frame they may be able to make you a cut template. Just a thought.

yes, I'm wanting to put the rallye in... I bought one and its the 70 charger one I think.
Yea they are totally different for sure ...I've got some customizing to do but I think it can be done tastefully.. I hope...hahahaha problem is the one that was in the car was junk to begin with so I dont have an option beyond what I have in my hands at the moment

I put a ralley dash in my 70 satelite convertible , went right in , but yes you have to change the whole thing

mine is an A/C dash and pebble black finish for a road runner instead of the wood grain but you get the idea

found a frame and a few complete when is searched for charger stuff, now its just a money thing .... as usual..hahahahaha

BTW... if you want to change the frame, any b-body with the rally dash from 68-70 will bolt right in. Think Charger, Super Bee, R/T. Might be easier to find than looking for a specific GTX dash. The frame isn't too hard to swap out, so don't worry about that

Yea I see that.. the one I have is a charger dash I think.

the switch in question by part number is a wiper switch no a headlight... ebay rip off I guess... person I bough it from put it in the headlight location on the dash is what it looks like. Bought switch from ebay.. non rallye dash but it will still work, I need a car to drive.... this is just a quick fix until I can do the proper restoration..

working on the tail lights now.. I put a whole new harness from painless in, so there is no guessing or messing around with the old wiring.. there is so much corrosion and dirt it didnt look to worth trying to salvage and I didnt see the value to it anyway. I'd much rather know my wiring is new and not worry abot cracking and dried out insulation and a fire started from a short. I ahd that happen in a 71 Challenger I had ..wasnt fun driving down the street at night and your dash literaly chatches fire... and the headlights go out..
