Hello fellow Mopar brothers and sisters....

I`ve been lurking here for a while and think that this is a great site with lots of great people AND great info, so I`ve jumped on board and look forward to sharing any info that I can help out with.

I currently have a 70 EV2 GTX, which is a numbers car with white vinyl and white stripe. It`s differnent in the fact that it came optioned with the N96 air grabber, yet had a buddy seat and column shift....lol
Also in the in the arsenal is a `10 Challenger SRT8, 6 spd.

I`ve been a muscle car nut for many years and hopefully many more to come!

Thanks for checkin`in on me....:icon_thumleft:

Thanks guys....

Budnicks, here's a couple photos for ya...
Go easy on me you guys, this car is a driver and is done to factory spec, but I'm not a purist by any means. One day I'm gonna build me a pro touring version of this car...with a monster stroker, overdrive trans etc.

I spent about 10 years looking for a car like this, but then found out what's it's really like to have a numbers car...it kinda limits what you can/should do if you want to preserve it. Lesson learned, now I'd like to build one that is open only to my imagination...and my wallet...LOL!!

Welcome aboard!

You have a fantastic looking car - one to be proud of! I have a 1970 Roadrunner, but it is in need of restoration. I'll be really glad when mine is in as nice shape as yours!

One question: What is the size of your back tires? 275/60 15? They look bigger than that and I am just curious.

Thanks,

welcome from another mopar nut. nice looking car.

Thanks very much hsorman, but I can't take all the credit for the condition of the car. I'm the 3rd owner and I can say that the other 2 guys took very good care of her. It's had a couple of coats of paint over the years (prior to me owning it) but it's an original car and I'm doing my best to make sure that it stays that way! I'm not sure why the last guy painted the hood with the wrong striping, but the paint is good enough to let it go for now. Trust me, the paint is less than flawless; the pictures make it look better than it really is. It's a good looking driver though, thanks for the compliment.
The rears are shod with BFG P295 50 R15's. They are a SUPER tight fit and you have to get the backspacing just right. The car is sitting low in the rear due to clapped out springs (original) but I'm just about to change that!

Yours will look the same or better someday...just keep going and it'll come together!!

Chris

Hey Dave, thanks for the welcome and the thumbs up. Yes, those are 15"...15X 10 for the rears and 15 X 7 on the front. I saw your car in your post and it's a fine lookin' car...nothin' wrong with it the way it sits!
