Getting ready to pull 318/904 from my 67 Satellite. Any issues involved pulling them connected? Thanks.

You should have no problem at all getting them out connected together.

A second pair of hands and a balancer will make it go much smoother and safer.

Good Luck!

i have found that raising the rear end of the car with a floor jack allow for a more stable engine/trans and engine hoist angle and less chance of hitting your radiator core support as the engine will clear quicker

or even put the rear wheels on a 4 post lift , makes for an easy slide in :headbang:

charlie, do not know if you knew this or not, but your valve covers are on the wrong sides :D, but if you do realize and dont care, do not pay attention to this message :headbang:

That looks like a 68-69 left side valve cover to me... why do you think it's wrong??

i like that adjustable carb plate attach. where to get one? tnx

Yeah it's a beauty!! Got it several years ago. Pulled/installed a bunch of engines with it. It uses a ratchet to adjust angle- very percise and easy. Only problem is if you let it out to friends to use getting it back:laughing1:

If you're really interested I can get where I bought it from. It was a small firm who manufactures them. It was about $60.00 8-10 years ago, but IMO worth every penny!

I was not sure what he meant by wrong side covers either?
