I just got off the phone with a gentleman who suffered a stroke. He is selling his Max Wedge car which is ready to run and fresh. He is to send me more photos but I will post what I have, if you have the magazine you can read the artical and may remember the car from the Mopar Nationals. If you are a serious buyer you can contact me and I will give you his contact info. The car runs 9.40's @140mph and the car is near Syracuse, NY.

Very Sorry to hear that one of our own suffered a stroke. Strokes are devestating. I hope he recovers and is eventually back in a MOPAR!!! God Speed!!

He also has 2 other cars that haven't been placed up for sale as of yet, both are original. One is a 66 Hemi Belveder and the other is a 70 Challenger, 440 6 pack. His race car has the drive train out of the original "Triple Nickle" (owned by Ken Montgomery) car that was wrecked. It was taken over my Mopar Performance and later purchased by a guy but Ray Barton was heavly involved in the building of the 64 that is shown in the photos.

Good luck with the sale, it's a worthy cause, I hope your friend gets well soon, it sounds like a great collection of fine Mopars there, will they all be up for sale ?? kind of sounded like it was a possibility, I'm on the west coast so it's a ways to have to go but looks & appears to be some great cars, $30K for a ready to run, mid 9 second ET 140mph car, is a decent deal for sure....

The main reason he is selling the race car is that he can't get his license due to the stroke. I don't know if he can drive or not but if the other become available I will post it.

Sorry to hear about your Bud there Red.That is nice car and she should sell to the right person.Good Luck
