Hi guys, Has anyone put together a list of parts and makes & models to take factrory disc brakes from another car that will bolt up on a 67 belvedere?

i've gotten this for free twice already!!! :rolling::rolling:

I posted this awhile ago, here's what I have found out:

Just went to the local self serve dismantler and found no less than 12 old Mopars (Cordoba, 5th Ave, New Yorker, Diplomat and Volare) that cross reference out as being the same setup that should (according to Gary GTX67) fit our b-bodies. I even found one car that had recent new calipers and rotors. Going back to get them later this week. Just need info on the brake booster/master & proportioning valve if anyone knows?

BTW, these are the spindle interchange listings for the 5th Ave that Gary gtx67 mentioned fit his 67. My local auto wrecker gave me the info. If the 5th ave fit, so should these:

Aspen 76-80
Caravelle 82-86 rwd
Charger 73-78
Cordoba 75-83
5th Ave 79-89
Diplomat 77-89
Coronet 73-76
Monaco exc Royale 77
Gran Fury 80-89
Imperial 81-83
LeBaron 77-81
Magnum 78-79
Mirada 80-83
NY'er RWD 79-89
Newport 79-81
Satellite & Roadrunner 73-74
Fury exc Gran 75-77
RoadRunner 75
St.Regis 79-81
Volare 76-80

Good info , but beware . If your changing spindle out for a newer model set up without changing ou the lower control arm you may not be happy. Memory serves that the lower ball joint is in the spindle on your car , not the lower control arm .

You say Gary mentioned the cars that had the goodys to fit a 67, but what about a 64 plymouth? Will these work also. Converting over and just need to get the right stuff. Clue me in guys and yes i've seen the post that Scott points us to but i guess i need to work on my "Reading Comprehension" skills.

Ok , in your thinking if I read it correctly you want to apply the samething to a 64 plymouth like sa a belvedere , savoy as such ?

Then your answer is yes . Yes it will work the same . I'd used the same application to a 64 Plymouth Belvedere , using complete spindle swaps from a 68 coronet . Even used the same spindles on a 63 Polara as well .

This parts list will actually work for all Mopars dating back into the 50`s.

I recently swapped the spindles and related components from a 77 Aspen onto my 1958 Coronet. No problems, works great. Only issue I encountered was the steering arm was a little too thick where the outer tie rod attaches. I could only get a few rounds of threads. I milled the area down about 1/4" and was then able to tighten fully and install cotter pin.

I bought everything at a local wrecking yard for $100
