That's the same color my bro's 65 500 was (I'm still looking for that car)

Why not tell us what the new suspension setup is

I am very curious as well...thats a beauty of a launch. How much tire clearance do you have to your outer wheelhouse? I am just figuring out my tubs/rear suspension on my 66 Belvedere.
Thx for the pic!

Looks Great PoppaJ..Is that parts you got from me on there?

Seen Ya at Martin But you were Busy and I was in a Hurry to get some things done with The LEGAL Cars...

Sweet !!!! Ron

Sorry I have not been on the site for a while.
Our current chassis setup is working very well and is deadly consistent. It is just a ladder bar setup with some real good shocks. I set the car up to run9.75 class last year. We plan on giving it some more throttle and running either 9.25 or 9.50. I am hoping that there will be a Pro Nostalgia class this year on one of the circuits. Over the Winter we built a large cubic inch motor that should be really quick. poppaj

Feel free to post any and all pics of the 65. Motor, interior, suspension ect... I am trying to put together mine and would love to see how other did theirs.

How do you have the motor mounted? Solids, front plate, elephant ears ect... ??? I am using a set of elephant ears because I was advised that a 650hp motor should use them. Of course I prob. have made more work for myself.

How does this look?

Atomic,
That looks great the way you have it setup. Mine has the same mounting system. I prefer the ears over a one piece plate. Really like the name of your car! poppaj:grin:

Dude why don't you give it a rest. You have no idea what my car will run. If you actually raced in NSS maybe you would understand that track conditions are not favorable most of the time for a heavy 10" tire car to run all out. We want to go rounds and win events. Talk is cheap, come out and run NSS and then we will see how far you get talking your jive

What is the connection with the "Rod Shop"? Did Bruce Meihls do the engine?
I raced for years in Ohio, I had Dave Boertmans Challenger. I now live in Arizona, still racing.
How much did you think that Indy intake picked uo your motor? I have two max wedge cars, currently racing the Kirby and Kompany 64.
Just bought the intake and was wondering how much better for you then a max wedge intake?
How much HP? What E.T.?
