trying to make the car stock

Since I purchased my 1969 GTX, I want to know where the best source would be to look at the engine compartment and the rest of the car. I want to make sure I paint the parts the right color, put the hoses in the right place...ect. Do they have a manual that helps someone like me to make sure I am doing it right? I really want to keep it all stock as possible. The car is all numbers matching, motor, trans, rad. support, trunk..ect.

BTW....the fuel line goes to the carb and then down to the pump.
The things that I know that are wrong in the picture:

Heater hoses not hooked, A/C system ( I have it). Electonic Ing. anything else?

Go to a major Mopar show and take alot of pics of survivor cars.

Looks like the fuel line is running straight out of the carb and towards the shock tower...

Lets see, the throttle return spring is hooked to the peg in the wrong place. retainer spring for your kickdown linkage is the wrong one, intake, distributor, and coil (as someone else said), heater hoses and A/C lines, #8 plug wire should run along the top of the passenger's side valve cover, should be "overspray" orange paint on the negative battery cable, probably the upper radiator hose (extra "kink" in the one for A/C), brake booster, distributor end of the plug wires should be a mix of 90* and straight boots, with all plug ends being 90* except #7 & 8, but all 90* will work on the plug end

My bad I didn't notice the AC. Make that Carter carb: 4640S

You are in NJ. Carlisle is coming up soon. Take a digital camera and go.

Take 1 Billion pictures, every detail, every angle....get part numbers and such. Be polite, talk to the owner...tell him what you are doing. Chance are he'll bend over backwards to help you. He'll probably tell you where he sourced every part for it.

Mopar guys are like that. Chevy guys? they probably close the hood and tell you to get lost.

Front Bumper? What's wrong with yours (pic please). You should look for originals because repops suck, the fit is worse than what the factory called tight. Fan, all that stuff should be on ebay fan number is 2863 216 and the clutch is 2658 456

Correct on the fan......and for those who are thinking "how could he know that? You can't even see what fan it currently has." the upper hose is the dead giveaway. The HD cooling (26" radiator) had the upper hose on the passenger's side. That means the 216 fan and shroud.

Oops....for a moment I forgot it's a 69 (since I've been workin on a 70) The 26" is a square top, while the 22" was a round top. Both are square tops for a 70
