Checking in from Maryland.

I've had a '69 charger for ~15 years and have it about 1/2 way through restoration. 440 4speed

Plus a '70 charger that I bought and was loading on a trailer during the events of 9/11/2001. This car is driveable now, but about to go under the knife for a major teardown and facelift. 440 auto

These projects have both been on hold due to: college then marriage then saving for and building a house. Well, I just turned 30 and had my first kid this year. Add this for a change: I'm done ignoring my cars.

I built a shop last year...in the process of moving in. If photobucket works the bugs out this AM, here's some pics:

Nice little garage setup. Should make it alot easier to get started on the projects

Patience my friends...gotta get the government off my back and call for the U and O inspection this week, then they can begin their excessive taxation and I can begin obsessive restoration.

Only then can the cars find their way home and we'll have a FBBO style photo shoot. K? :tongueflap: HAHA

Held out a little longer on the inspection, but calling the govt. tomorrow.
Car pics next week.

WELCOME!!!dang, nice shop...I still gota do all my work in the driveway!!!!!I,m helping a buddy build a 69 r/t....Love those chargers too!!!!

Obviously the '70...Back in 2001 on a college budget, I painted it satin black, new bushings and tires, alignment, pulled the motor and did a complete machine shop rebuild inside, but didn't spend much money on extras. Just enough to make it go. The plan worked out, I had some fun with it prior to resto, but most of that stuff won't be reused going fwd.

Your shop is looking good! I thought I knew why you built it with the extra ceiling height, nice lift! And there is a car in it too!
Feels good when you can see a light at the end of the tunnel :)
