Hemi-Itis,thanks again for the pics. One damn near brought me to tears, though. Seeing Bud Faubel's '64 Hemi sedan made me really wish I had been able to keep the 440 hardtop of his that I had 25 years ago. I had hoped to restore it,as the nostalgia scene was really starting to take off,and that, though in need of a TON of work, would have been a hell of a complement to Bud's other restored cars. I'd like to talk to Mike Guffey, who,in an older MCG magazine article, stated that the doors may have been the only thing left of the car(this was about 6-7 years ago-I'm guessing here),and those doors are VERY special-I think you know what I mean. A certain Mr Hoover(hmmm...) called me one night back in '85 and told me the story on them, and their counterparts. I really could start a thread on just the time I had the car,and what I knew of it. Perhaps, someday,I will. For now;here's what I had:

Al,Bud is one of my hero's:blush:I have spoken to him at the York Reunion,Beaver Springs and the All Hemi Reunion. As a Chrysler driver he got to drive the all the newest that Ma Mopar had to offer.Max Wedgees, first blown wedgees on gas then fuel, first Hemi cars, turbos,AWB's etc.He remembers most of it like it was yesterday. He told me he still drives his Caddy to all his appearences and like to cruze at 125 mph on the open road.
