Looking for a Right Rear quarter for a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500... Hardtop

I do not know of any re pops at this time...

Located in So Cal... what do you have?

Shoot me an email glen426@aol.com

You are correct in that no one is reproducing new quarter panels or skins for the 66-67 Coronets.

However, wheel well and lower quarter patch panels are available.....

Measures 22" tall by 47" long.
AS-18659L 1966-67 Left side wheel opening repair panel - quarter $149
AS-18659R 1966-67 Right side wheel opening repair panel - quarter $149
AS-18659P 1966-67 Pair $296

Measures 15" tall.
AS-18660L 1966-67 Left Lower rear Quarter panel patch panel $ 124
AS-18660R 1966-67 Right Lower rear Quarter panel patch panel $ 124
AS-18660P 1966-67 Pair $238

It should be noted that "These are a Canadian Handmade panels and are a rough panel. Meant for collision or rust repair work.
Does require additional work to the panel typically after you receive it. These panels do have waves and
are not a quality panel. Because of this, use as a last resort for major repairs or last ditch effort. Non-returnable."

Please PM me here on the board for stock and availability.

Thanks,
Rick

i have a 66 500 still on the car,ill mail ya,just sold 2 outer skins,went to MI

Are you guys aware of my standing request for 66 Satellite C pillar?

If you are cutting up a Coronet, I think it is the same stamping.

I need about 10 inches from the fatory seam up, and about 2 1/2 inches below the seam from the quarter. I think this area is thae same as well.

Need both sides, but will take what I can get.

Outer wheel houses would have been nice too.

If you are putting on the whole panel and the panel you are taking off is good in the area I need, you can recoup some of your cost from me:)

..or if you are not putting on the whole panel, and have this area left over, same deal.

Thanks much.

Panel needed

I will post a pick of what I need tomorrow...

Let me know if you can help...

Thanks,
DJ

Qtr

Hi 48-

Thanks for your reply..

I've been so busy, have not had a chance to show you what I need...

I will get a pic up in the next couple of days.

Do you have any idea what the cost would be to 91301 to ship? Grayhound maybe???

Thanks,
DJ

Pics of Qtr

Here is the piece I would need...

I have straightened it out the best I can... but have lost some of the detail as you can see.

I was thinking I could get away with a skin, cut above the wheel well including the door jam... ideas???

I would like to replace the whole thing... but cost from GA?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Glen/DJ

Wow, that's a bitch, Sorry to see that.

Those quarters are so crisply styled that it's really easy to see even just slightly less than perfect work, especially in that area above and in front of the wheel.

The good, if you can call it that, is it looks like solid, non-rusted metal. A really good body guy might be able to get the contours right, and if prepped good would probably never come out.

Even a half panel would require absolutely perfect work to get the sharp crease from front to back.

Hope you get it back. Looks like a clean car.

What motor and options?

Future...

Car started out as a 383/500 out of Reno, no rust anywhere. Needed a drivers door and qtr fixed.

Street strip "ish" build with 528" (440 Source) wedge, procomp alum heads. I was tying the frame rails in those photos, Mini tubbing this weekend. Just been busy... Car will be sitting on S/S springs, moved in with 29 X 14.50 Quicktimes on American Torque Thrusts. 3" TTI exhaust, factory late model discs with 11" drum rears. 4:30, w narrowed 8 3/4, manual torqueflight with
9" converter...

Looking to paint it factory copper with white or black 500 (bucket seat) console interior...

Just a nice hot rod...

Thanks for asking,
Glen/DJ

Bump...

Did you ever get a panel?

looks like a straightenable 1/4 to me, if you can't do it take it to a body shop i'm sure somebody out in cali could knock that out for reasonable coin

Are you still looking for parts? I assume you have a hardtop? Would the wheel house parts be the same as on a sedan?

Thanks, Cranky.

This would be for my brother's Satellite (I have a Coronet).

We are waiting for the AMD 1/2 panel for the pass side.

I was hoping they would have that ready before the Don Garlits show down here in early November. Haven't seen any updates, though.

I think the panel on your sedan, below the fender top, is the same, including the wheel well.

It may be worth our while to investigate shipping or a drive out, if the price is right and you are willing to cut.

48Limo has some other parts I'm intersted in and we'd like to go junkyarding in Georgia/Alabama.

I'd be a stretch to drive all the way across Louisiana (I think you are in extreme East Texas, right), but at least we would eat good!

We both have mandatory extended vacation coming up at Thanksgiving, and again at Christmas.

I think I already talked to you about the hood/bumpers, right?

Thanks.

I feel awfully guilty about hijacking this thread.

I'm 90 miles west of Beaumont...yeah, I'm willing to cut it up since seems no one wants the whole car....I'm willing to sell the whole car cheap enough instead of spending time cutting it apart lol. I think we have talked about it before...the bumpers are gone and the hood is rusty along the leading edge.
