Anyone here who know where I can buy a book just like the
Torqueflite A727 transmission handbook but for the A833 manuel transmission.

Thanks, that will be one of my job this winter to restore 2 transmisssions.

to my knowledge a book like that doesnt exist
I will suggest you pick up a used counter shaft cut it down so it's the same size as the cluster gear(Your making a dummy shaft ) when u put the bearings in the gear slide the dummy shaft in to hold bearings when you position it in the case and slide the actual shaft in it will push out the dummy shaft and you wont lose the bearings
a real time saver

Thanks for that one, the book was for sale and I order one from Mopartsdealer but they were already soldout when my order came to him.

I have several manuals will look into these tonight:sleepy2:

I use a wooden dowel instead of a metal one. You can buy the dowel at most home improvement stores. I use wheel bearing grease to hold all the needle bearings in place as I assemble them. That helps to keep them in place.
