Hello,
I want to know if anyone here has any experience with a 78 magnum xe?I am thinking of buying one that is low mileage rust free.It has a wing like the superbird. The car needs upholstery and I want to know if anything is available for it like door panels and dash pad, seat covers etc.
Thanks
Don

I looked it up...It looks like a cordova but maybe dodge,s version...Probably has a 400 motor also...It,s really not considered a collector car yet...I have not seen any after market stuff like interior in mags or online...You may be taking a chance...Maybe some one with a cordova on the forum will help you out..

Thanks,I have never seen one of these before. So figured it to be sort of rare with the big wing and all. This one has the 360 engine and T-Tops.

There's not a lot of aftermarket support for the 75-79 b-bodies BUT, Ma Mopar raided the parts bins (or was tryining to clear out inventory) when they built them so there a lot of parts from earlier cars that do interchange.

Thats CORDOBA, with a B, not a V. The Magnum was a name plate change instead of useing the "Charger" nameplate. The old *** exc.'s were worried over the then radical styling change for the name plate even though sales were tanking faster then the titanic sunk.

Theres not much in the way of aftermarket parts for the car. (I have a 79 myself)

Beware of Magnumguy, he's screwed a few of us "Magnum" owners all ready.

Ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Oh this could get silly if it were a case of the late night giggles!)

Isn't that the truth. Cost me my Magnum GT with T Tops.

If you bought the Magnum from a guy names Andre then the wing is not factory he tried to make a updated version of the 69 Dodge Daytona to resell it backfired. I was told he is a good guy. But the wing is aftermarket. If you want to restore your Magnum get rid of the Daytona wing. Email a guy on here by the name of MAGNUM GT XS22L9R He knows quiet a bit about the Magnums.

Check this website http://www.magnumgt.com/ and post some pictures of your new car.

I forgot to tell you stay away from MoparStyles a lot rip off artist especially one by the name of Magnumguy.

Ditto, Did even get the title back!?

And your not aloud to post anything negitive about Magnumguy no matter how bad he screwed you without getting it removed with in just a few moments of him reading it! He's a Mod there!:icon_hang:

My friend has a 79 and its got a 318, t-tops,buckets and console.
Also it has vacuum/electric headlite covers that go down when the headlites are on.
Theres also one on a car lot I saw the other day.

Ditto on Rumblefish360's comment, There driven by a single electric motor with a
rod to both doors. Therefore more likely you won't see a magnum driving
around looking weird with only one headlight door open.:pimp3:
