I am converting to a console shifted four speed from an auto. Can someone please post some pics of where the hump goes and what the hole looks like under the hump. Measurements would be real helpful too. It might be better to email me them gtxs72@yahoo.com Thanks in advance!

If no one sends you a pic I'll send one to you this weekend Car is at sand blaster

Will not get my car back till next week. But I will still send you pics and measurements

I think the console hump is entirely different.

i didn't see that..
oh well, it was worth the try at least
i do have a bucket seat hump
with no console brackets in the other runner, but the interior is still in it..

Flypaper thanks for the pics anyway. I need them for a console equipped car. I cantuse them but Im sure they are of some help to someone else. Im gonna keep these pics. anyway. You never know when they will be helpful.

Assuming you are working with a reproduction bucket/bucket seat with console 4-speed hump, you will find only one position where it fits the contours of the floor. Trace an outline of the flange, trace another line ¾-1” inside of the outline for the cut. Not necessary to cut away the floor panel directly above the transmission cross member, in other words two holes, fore and aft of the cross member within the cut line. Here’s some shots of my somewhat recent conversion with an additional modification for the TKO-600 5-speed.

Great thanks for the pics. What about the hole under the 4 speed hump? Do you have any pics of that? Sorry to be a pain in the rump.

Ray,
Here is some photos of a console 4spd. hump I have cut from a Road Runner. This is shots from the bottom. I could have got better pics but it's raining here and didn't have room in the garage to lay it down to take pics. Hope it helps...
