Greetings,
I have spent most of my life as a GM guy (69 Chevelle, 72 Nova, 75 & 79 Trans Am) but have always looked longingly at the late 60's-Early 70's Mopars. Roadrunners and SuperBees have been at the top of my list for years.

Lucky for me the wife caved in to my pressure tactics (please, please, pleeeaaaasssse I have to have it!) and I recently acquired a Vitamin C Orange 69 Road Runner, 383 w/4speed as a project car.

The body is in nice shape as well as the paint (needs a little touch up). According to the former owner, the car was used as a quarter miler, which sounds about right as the interior is in rough shape, the electrical from the firewall back to the taillights is non-functional and the center frame rails have been replaced with box tubing (no evidence of a wreck, car is very straight, no creasing).

I've been reading through this forum a little over the past few days and can already tell it will be a huge help.

its a slippery slope

welcome aboard buddy. i have a similar tale as yours. just be very careful, Because it can get addictive, i know first hand. he didn't take the center frame rails out, it didn't have any. he put connecters in it to stiffen it. unibody like your nova was. nice looking car and have fun.:headbang: rick

ps; there is a lot of smarts on here who are willing to share it.
