2nd car purcase in as many days...but still kept within my budget!

Congrats YY1 you lucky fella i would have jumped on that myself [woulda saved me all the pain and misery on the charger]. On the fire wall use a good degreaser [purple stuff] scrub the hell outa it sand off the loose crap seal it and paint.

On your wipers not working....next time you are messing with the car. Turn the wiper switch on. Tap the wiper motor with the handle of a medium-large screwdriver handle. Don't go full force on it, just get a little more power behind each swing and it may take about 8-10 swings. But a lot of the time that will work. If the car sat for any length of time the motor will "stick" and the hits will allow the brushes to "unstick"!

Thanks everyone.

For the wipers- it's the linkage bushings. My local Advance Auto had them, but I am rapidly losing chunks and layers of skin trying to install the one up under the driver side fender.

The one on the motor took maybe 20 min, but I've got 2 hours wrestling with the other one! Thinking about fabricating a miniture press to help out.

YY1 that is awesome! I'm drooling as I look at it and thinking RR clone or a sleeper car oh man how I LOVE MOPARS!!!!

Congrats on the buy and I'm going to read about the Charger I looked at those on ebay I think.

You sure said it right with the interior being that good.

leave it the way she is ...that is a really clean ride and i always loved the lines of these ...

Sweet car - what a deal!

Does it have a Road Runner grill? Looks like it is painted black rather than all silver - but that might be the just the way the picture was taken. Just curious...

damn you. I always dream of getting a deal like that. Very well bought.

Nice score. Always awesome when more vehicles join our 71-74 crowd.

Good deal Sir! By the way, the easiest way to fix those wipers is take the nut off the motor driveshaft, take the center assembly off, unbolt the left and right wiper mechanisms and slide the whole kit & kaboodle out through the passenger side vent hole. Fix what you have to fix, then slide everything back in, reattach the wiper mechanisms, put the center assembly back on, and put the wiper arms back on and you're done with 100% of your skin remaining. :)

nice ride.

$6500 down to $4000. that was a good drop -- good for you :)

what price do you think woulda been too much? asking price?

i needs in on one of these 73's ever since i saw a 73RR a few days ago. damn...no more disposable income
