Does anyone make/sell the parts needed floor shift automatic? I know I have seen the weld in mounts for the console. But does anyone make the linkage?

Anything needed besides...
Floor shift steering column (have)
Console ( reproductions)
Top plate. (reproductions)
Shifter
Shift indicator and lense
Shifter handle. ( reproductions )
Linkage and floor rubber grommet

Just trying to decide on swapping from a column shift or not. The car already has bucket seats.

I know Classic industries sells the linkage from the shifter, that runs through the floor, and the two bolt bracket that mounts to the tranny. It has a bushing that the linkage coming through the floor slides through...

Trick is finding the linkage and hardware forward of that, that goes to the gear selector arm off the tranny. Try ebay or post a wanted ad on here..

Another thing.....What year of car? Pre '69 the console shifter had your back up switch mounted on the gear shifter (classic also has them...not cheap). After that the back up lights were actuated through the neutral safety switch. You'll also need the console lights, Console door hinge and hardware, console trim and carpet, console wiring harness and will need to add to your current harness to accomodate the additional wiring (easier than it sounds)

This is a set up for models up 66-70. Hope it helps somewhat.....

I have a 2009 Year One catalog, and if im reading this correct you want everything except what you say (have). You can get about everything to make the console itself, Console shell repo, top plate repo, mounting brackets, shifter plate slide chrome bezel and the lens, so you could build one and i know they have the shifter Knobs For 71-74.. Cant find shifter and linkage for auto in it.. I agree with prop, a ad here or ebay could help you.. You may even find a console cheaper then building one from Year one, just sayin, hope this helps. Good luck.

I just installed a stock floor shifter in my 74, I had to search the swap meets untill I found the linkage, I never found a company that repops the linkage. floor brackets and console itself are available, but no linkage

Now that the car is in the hands of the guy who literally wrote the book on his Project Charger. I went ahead and placed a wanted ad on a couple of sites looking for a complete linkage set-up. Hope I can find it in time to get the swap done. If not I will have him go back with column shifter.
