lost my rotty today

my rott of 13 1/2 years passed in my arms today , she had a stomach tumer for six months .She did very good uptill today,she was my second rott and I must say they are very loving dogs,I know they have a bad rep but if you treat them as family they will love and take care of you.We all know its part of the deal when you have a dog that one day they will be gone,but it still is not an easy task.life goes on and I know she will be waiting for me when its my turn.

Had to have my golden put down about 4 mos ago. It sucked. She was 12 and has cancer for 3 years. Her hips finally got so bad she was in pain just getting up and down.
I finally got another one about a month ago. Time will heal the wounds you cannot see.

Gotta be tough after 13 years. My brother had a female her name was Berreta she was very protective of the family she died at 10 and was a sad day. Rotts are what you make of them and can be very loving dogs. Sorry for you loss.

Alsant, you have my deepest heart felt condolences, to you & your family, in this time of loss, it's so hard to loose such a loyal friend, they are truly "mans best friend", with unconditional love, I know my Buddy's time is coming probably much sooner than I want to see it for sure... What was her name ??, was it Rotty ?? in any case R.I.P. Girl, I'm sure she was "great girl & great dog".... I truly believe all dogs go to heaven... I've been thru this a few times now, we all know it could happen some day, but still it's never easy, to loose such a loyal friend & companion...

I'm so sorry to here that you have my deepest condolences, as many of you know I'm a big dog lover & especially Labs we had them growing up a children too, I'm on my 4th lab now, my Buddy {Lord Budnicks, to his loyal discipals...LOL...} he's 14+ y/o, I'm dreading the day he passes... They are truly man's best friend.... May they all R.I.P.
