I decided to let it go. I don't have time to do this project, but it should be done. I don't have the motor for the car but have the trans. This is a very very very solid car. I do have the grille and some other misc. parts. I have included a picture of the fender tag. This car came with some great options. One thing i have a question about is the tic toc tac gauge this has a blank gauge is this common. The interior of the car is untouched except for the shifter. I am just going to throw a price out there i have no idea what the car is really worth. If im out of line on price please let me know give me some feedback please. Asking $25,000 Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I agree - it might go for that price if it had the original motor and if it needed less work.

1970 Roadrunner

I agree in these times price is high..As far as missing gauge the only option was the Tach..There was no delete option.:eusa_think:.Rick

as much as we would like to think our cars are worth more than they are......theyre not...especially in this screwed up economy. just being realistic and not raining on your parade. what you have sitting there is a $12-15 thousand dollar car in the condition its in.....and if someone offered that to you and you wanted to get rid of it....i wouldnt pass up that offer.

You're looking at around $6500 in this economy!

If that car has a clean TX body and has the 18 spline trans, it is worth $15-16k all day long... If it was an R-code car, $35-40k as it sits. Please show me a '70 Hemi RR body in any price range, let alone $25k or less...

I must be missing something here...
It's GOT to be worth lots more than $6,500.
It's a 6-BBL car, w/ a 4-speed, Dana.

Fully completed w/replacement 440-6BBL: $35-45K? (replacement engine)

Cost of said full restoration ~ $65K.... lol.....

I agree $25k is high. There was just a Complete 4 speed A-12 on here for $25k. I had the chance to buy a 1970 RR V-code 4-speed sublime / white interior, pretty much rust free, numbers matching, fender tag & build sheet for $15k I passed because it was far away. It sold pretty quickly but not instantly. I would agree $12-15k is what you'll probably get for it. $6,500 is ridiculous I'll take as many 4 speed V-codes as you find for that regardless of their condition.

Please do NOT make derogatory or editorial comments about what someone has for sale, or what they are asking for it. If you don't like it, or think they are out of their minds asking whatever price they are.....keep it to yourself

Neat car danaboy. Would love to have a project like that some day. Best of luck with your sale.

Even if he ask for it.
I am just going to throw a price out there i have no idea what the car is really worth. If im out of line on price please let me know give me some feedback please.

Anybody have any information on the blank gauge yet. I am real curious. Check out first photo on my last thread.

If the tach was an option, then I guess that is what you got if you didn't order it......I have seen several cars like this.

Yes there was a tach delete and that is what you have. $6500.00 Moparsteve, come on ...

The car is worth what someone is willing to pay.Bottom line . As my father taught me there's a A$$ for every seat, and when the music stops you hope someone sits in yours. If you guys think back years ago what people were buying cars for.CHEAP !! Things just got out of hand and no different than the housing market. House prices went through the roof. Now you can buy a house for a third of the price and sometimes they go into forclosure. I feel it's a changing times. You better love the car you own cause i see the market slowly coming down and down . The older we get there isnt to many young kid that have a LUST for these cars like we did ! They like the tuner cars , new mustangs, camero, and challengers. Something to be said for them. Thats my opinion-- thank god for America and you can say your peace. When in doubt stand on it ! Bruce Springsteen .

that was BT Barnum that said there`s an *** for every seat and WC Fields that said there`s a sucker born every second .

I love these cars, You couldn't give me 20 grand to get shed of it if it were mine, But thats not going to happen but i do wish you luck in the sale for whatever you settle for.. It looks and reading what you've said seems like a great car! Someone will be getting a good one..

Oh, Its been many years for me but my dash gauge in the one i had was the same as what you have there, i just assumed at that time there was supposed to be a tach there..
