"Mannix was an American television detective series that ran from 1967 through 1975 on CBS. The title character, Joe Mannix, is an Armenian-American in the series (as is Mike Connors in real life). The show debuted with Mannix driving a 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado. However, Chrysler ended up sponsoring the show through 1974 and Connors drove a 1968 Dodge Dart GTS 340 convertible in season 2; a 1969 Dodge Dart GTS 340 in season 3; a 1970 and 1971 Plymouth Barracuda 340 convertible in season's 4 and 5. For season 6, the 1971 Cuda was updated with the 1973 grill, front fenders and tail lights by car builder George Barris. In 1974 Mannix moved to a Dodge Challenger convertible for season 7."
