Cool stuff, I would have liked to have seen that... Thanks Ski

Awesome. I just saw it fly by right in front of me this morning only a few hundred feet off the ground as it flew past NASA Ames at moffat field in mt. View, CA. It made me feel very patriotic.

Thanks for the great pics as I wasn't able to get any.

Here's a few more....Hopefully NAsa will make a come back ....

Not long ago, maybe a month or so when they were bringing one to Kennedy Airport here in NY for distplay on the Intrepid Carrier,I was listening on the radio how it went over the Hudsun river and over grond zero where the freedom tower is already the tallest building in New York City.I was in "my area" in my truck when I spotted it as it circled to land at JFK.

The one where it's piercing the clouds is awesome!

I should have gone over to see the takeoff.

I saw it the first time going the other way back in the early 80's.

It would have been fitting to see the first and the last.

I lived on the north west side of Ellington Field in the 70's and early 80's and saw it fly over my house on the way to Ellington which is just a couple of minutes flying time at the most. Now I live on the north east side of Ellington and saw it leave but now I'm closer and could actually hear the 747 take off with it. Just too many trees in the way to be able to see it on the ground....it's an impressive rig for sure!

Those really are some impressive pictures of this, I cant imagine being there and being able to see all this.

Verry cool shots guys, Thanks
