Can/Will Brad K win the chase?

Id love to hear that Brad won it! But im with others with Jimmy Johnson! I often wonder how many championships he would have if it was like in the days of Dale Sr. D-Waltrip and the likes, Petty and all of them, Dale sr, got away with a lot back in the old days, Different racing now compared to those days, some time ago i was reading an article talking of the differences in what it took then compared to today to win a championship, wish i could remember it but things have changed a lot, back then it was harder to do then now, I think it was Pearson that made that statement when JJ won his 5th championship.

I agree to, Mark Martin is a class act! One of the nicest guys in racing.. Id have loved to see him grab some, I remember back in 89 when it was so close between him and Dale sr.. His engine let go and it looked worse then it was with the flames, he just shrugged when the camera was on him and he was gracious as can be.

I think there was actually 3 that had a chance in the last race, But not sure who the other one was, Mathematically possible but Dale and Mark had to do bad..

Isn't it strange you have 4 cars out of the same stable, race after race this guy can't do anything wrong and you can't tell me jimmmmmmmmy is a far superior driver over his team members and a 43 car field. This whole racing deal stinks!!!! Getting like reality show!!!

I absolutely agree!!!!

[ Anyway back on topic Hendrick has Nascar in his pocket and will buy JJ's championship again. Brad deserves this crown but won't win as Nascar will call stupid DEBRIS CAUTIONS if Brad gets too far ahead.] Two races to go and we will see....GO BRAD

I was hoping Brad was going to take him out last week, almost.

To see a Dodge win would be great, Chevy and Ford is ok,but please no Toyota.
I could not agree more... THAT, plus the fact that the cars don't look like stock cars anymore, is why I don't really get into it as I did back when I watched the King #43 drive a car that looked like the one I drove on the street. And I feel like puking seeing those Toyotas....

Agree with both. Maybe nissan and hyundai will enter teams when Dodge exits.
...and then geely and tata after that :)

Brad is 21 points ahead of JJ going into the last race.I've watched nascar since the 70's and i agree, today's nascar is no where close to what is was back then. Then, it was who had the fastest cars and how well a driver could handle them, plus maybe getting away with a little cheating. Then, they would build their motors to run faster then the other guys,if it blew better luck next week. Now, the motors have to be built the exact same way along with the body has to be within the same template no matter ford, chevy toyota, and dodge. To me that is not racing,it's just owners and drivers chasing a paycheck. Richard "KING" petty was the main reason i got into mopars and i will still follow mopars if they race next year, but i don't watch nascar as much as i did in the past. I will continue to cheer for anybody that drives a mopar in any kind of competition so i will watch the last race to hopefully see brad take the championship and hopefully win the race at the same time.

Looks like Brad K. has a great chance now, if he finishes ahead of J.Johnson, if Brad K. finishes 15th or better he clinches, I think is what they said on Nascar Now last night.... Could be a great going away present for Dodge, leaving Nascar & for owner Rodger Penske last year with Dodge, to give them a Championship...

I Wonder What Roger Penske Thinks Now That Brad And His Dodge Have Practically Stood On Their Heads This Year And Are About To Hand Dodge Their First Repeat Manufacturers Cup In Years? I Have Known Brad And The Keselowski Family From Rochester, Michigan For Years! His Family And Father Bobby Ran Mopars In ARCA And ASA And His Uncle Ron Keselowski Won The First Pennsylvania 500 At Pocono With A Mopar Test Mule Superbird #88! I Worked With Them In The Rochester Shop Building Chrysler Kit Cars And Even Some Chevy frames On Mopar's Jig! I Don't Think Brad Really Likes Penske Leaving Mopar Or In This Case Mopar Leaving Roger Penske!

Last NASCAR Dodge racing for a while now... Unless they/Dodge see the light or some miracle happens, or some last minute deal happens... He's -BK- 5th fastest in practice, -JJ- was like 27th or something, but he/-JJ- does that & then qualifies 1st so who knows, where they will end up, hopefully Brad start ahead of -JJ- & will win the race & win the Sprint Cup Championship too boot... I wish no "ill will" to -JJ-, I just don't want to see yet another Hendricks Chevy Win or -JJ- Championship any time soon 5 out of the last 6 years is enough for quite a while... I really do like Mark Martin & Micheal Waltrip too, but they are Toyota guys now, so I just can't bring myself to rout for them, I was a Big Tony Stuart fan too even if he's in a Chevy... I can't stand whiners like Jeff Gordon, everything is someone else's fault, never his {reminds me of our Pres...LOL...}, I'm not a big Jr. fan either {I loved his father}, I just can't rout for those spoiled whining guys... I do like Clint Boyer too he's a down to earth guy... Markus Ambrose is a great road course driver & nice guy too, even if he's in a Ford...LOL... But I want Brad to win the Championship for Dodge... I hope he drives like he has been all season, as long as he finishes ahead of -JJ- & 15th or better he's got a great chance, I think the only way -JJ- can win the Championship is to win the race & Brad not finish...

im pretty sure , regardless of qualifying or practice position, brad is going to do what he has been doing these last 10 races and run the top 5 and bag this thing

Off to a good start by out qualifying JJ. Waltrip said it best " Brad has only one team mate out there, jimmy has a lot of friends" I hate to think that JJ's friend might get in the way, but that's the way of Nascar these days. I liked it better when Petty raced Pearson and the Allison's and Yarlborough, and Baker and the boys. No Teams. Man to man. Good luck to BK2 and the Blue Duece

# 3 qualifier . if he can stay in front of the field without trouble , it will happen

Go Brad, you can do it. You just have to watch out for the (24) making those right hand turns.(the whine ***) Win that championship for you,Dodge, Penske, and all us Mopar fans!

Great Win!

High Fives to Brad for Winning the Cup![SUB] Maybe Dodge will re-think with drawing from NASCAR. Roger said in all the years with Dodge he never had an engine failure. Wow, great Job! :jerk::jerk::jerk:[/SUB]
