Hmm, thet really doesn't look like lead that guy is putting in the quarter seam.

I wonder what tool he's using. I can't quaite make it out.

We have a winner. This is for a vinyl roof car. Here is what the manual said about this image:

"Fig. 22-27 Application of knife-grade plastic body solder to roof-to-quarter panel joint (Under vinyl roof)

A recent application, perhaps the first O.E.M. plastic body-solder application pioneered by Chrysler, is shown in Fig. 22-27, where the joint between the roof and quarter panel is being sealed with a knife-grade vinyl plastisol. This may be applied by flow gun also, but must be smoothed out and feathered by hand. This application at present, is used only under the vinyl roof, where the joint is not painted with the top-coat body enamels. More work remains to be done to develop the ideal solder for paint acceptance and permanence with no surface defects."
