On a 71 B-Body. Where is the best place to mount a rotisserie to the rear? Where the rear bumper brackets are or spring shackles? Thanks

Looking at the picture, it looks like the arm is utilizing two bolt holes of the bumper brackets, correct?

mounting rotissiere to a 71 B -BODY

:headbang: I mounted mine in two holes in the lower splash apron area.it is a panel that is welded to the rear where the rails mount to .This way i got to get paint coverage on the rear panel .mine is a 73 Charger Rallye.....hope this helps you out...

You have to mount it where your center of gravity will match the front of car. You have a window of adjustibilty of 4-6 inches front to back.

Did you buy your rotisserie or build it?

Built it. Built one for my friends 69 RR/GTX. Now gonna use the same for mine but need to do just a little mod to the rear.
