you comment is absolutely true, however:

1. when i'm actually in the same room as other people i'm not using a keypad or keyboard to talk to them

2. when i'm actually in the same room as other people i'm not using a keypad to talk to people i'm not in the same room with

It's a choice, and unfortunately i think it's becoming a less common choice.

I have experienced relatives sitting next to each other at a restaurant and they wer too busy plaqying a game with eachother to converse. A different scene is when one was txting, on the comp and watching a show at the same time......pathetic.

I'm sitting in the airport in Phoenix waiting for a delayed flight. You wanna see electronic morons? The idiot that was in 8c coming in had to be told several times to turn the **** off. While waiting to get off, they have to play games to keep occupied. Morons. Addicted narcissists. Or however it is spelled.

I use to work for the fire department, one day we had an old women that was run over by a bus and she was stucked under it, when we was lifting the bus to get her out a lot of morons was laying on the other side of the bus with their phones trying to take photos of her, it was really close that I ended up at jail that day. From that day we had to place out equipment, (racks with hoses etc) to stop the morons to get so close, the police was not always at scene to run them of.

It really is ridiculous when you see a group of kids together and they are all texting or whatever instead of talking to each other and having fun.
When i was a teen their where no cell phones or home computers so maybe I don't understand it but it sure looks stupid to me.
