Hey Folks,

I was wondering if we had an AM Coast 2 Coast listeners on here? I listened a lot when i was going to school at the University of Wisconsin. Always dug stories about bigfoot and UFo's and such. I just started listening again. George Noory is ok, not quite the guy Art Bell was for sure.

Anyway, just seeing if anyone else listened or not.

Mike

Wow...that's really cool. I didn't know that.

You finally got radio in WI???

;)

I listened to AB late night on clear channel stations as I'd travel. I liked him but it took him f o r e v e r to get to the point.

LOL, Doug!

Internet radio my friend! I always liked Art Bell, I thought his questioning were non judgemental and easy to listen too!

I liked AB. He was a good broadcaster and understood 'the show'. I just wish he had a little more urgency.

When I worked third shift,I used to head out to the truck at lunch and catch it. Enjoyed Art's running of the show more than George's,for the reasons stated above, but 5 minutes of commercials every 5 minutes drove me nuts. Always had an interest in the paranormal and cryptozoology,so it held my attention.

I don't know why but I love bigfoot stuff. I won't believe it till I see it but I love readin about it.

Art Bell helped keep me awake many nights with his talk show because they were so interesting. Is he still broadcasting?

When I was a kid, I used to stuff my AM radio under my pillow and listen to the masterpiece theater on the local station. I loved all the cool sound effects they played on it.

Too bad am radio has lost so much favor. I used to listen to the old radio serials late at night growing up like the Lone Ranger,The Shadow and a few others. The art of good radio is lost because of the fight of a dollar.

listen to my xm radio :ufo: coast to coast ,old time radio ,then 50' and 60's:headbang:

Driving at night, coast 2 coast was always a great way to stay awake!

:headbang:use to listen to all the am shows , all the westerns , cop ,scifi and comedy ,on xm all they are restored tapes and replayed ,there hasn't been many on am radio around here for awhile , you can also get them on the net ,same with coast to coast, out in the garage I have and xm out there to listen to, don't really listen to the radios in the vehicles any more .:hello2::hello2:
