She's a little bit rusty but looks like it can be saved. I see it looks like someone put on a 69 fender (right) at one time. Is the bodyshop doing all the work? I think that is the first time I've seen rust like that on the dash panel. Wish you the best on this project and keep us updated with pictures.

That's a 69 grille as well- and I think the hood is a 69 (airgrabber holes). Looks like a solid car- glad to see another bird coming back to life!

I got nos 68 fenders and hood. Body shop is replacing the passenger quarter panel and repairing the windshield and dash. I am currently looking for a 68 grill. Looks to be in worse shape than it is.

Looks like a project alright. I'm surprised the floor boards look to be in such good shape considering the condition of the windshield channel and dash. Is the body shop getting it media blasted? Be sure to keep the pics. coming.

Looks like a cool project, Yes please keep us updated as you go.. Make a sweet ride when your done. Good luck!

I have a few 68 grilles- pm me if interested.

post car! love it. what are the plans? did you get '69 bezels with the grill? might be interested in them, pm me if so.

'68s are my favorite. That one doesn't look too bad at all, it's crumpled up all the way around more then anything else. Make sure you inspect those A pillars all the way down to the tops of the rockers.

from the pictures looks like a solid car apart from the abused exterior panels. keep the pictures coming!

That's what I was thinking.

Good luck with it.

Sent her to the body shop today. Replacing both quarters, both door skins and any cancer that is on the car. Should be complete in a month or so. I will upload pics when I visit the body shop.

Good luck prOf3ssor! Looking forward to seeing them!

I'm working on a 68 myself. Coronet though. Godspeed bro, may it all go smoothly. . . .

I'm thinking about going hot rod black on the car until I'm ready for paint. I'm doing more of a resto mod but I want the original paint and interior. Rr2 burgundy with d4s silver black interior.
