A co worker of mine said that he saw a RR similar to mine, so we jumped in the car and went and checked it out. It turned out to be a 73\74 Satty you could tell it hasnt been on the street for quite sometime. The quarters are ate up and it has a sunroof which I thought was cool. Also has the power bulge hood. But I thought I had the only one in this tiny town of 4500.

Anyway, mine does look better and is on the street. I would like to snatch it up and get one of my girls into it for a first car.

Hey man.......The important thing is to enjoy what you got and don't worry about what everyone else has. Take the time to mold the car into what you want and forget about the rest. The whole razzle dazzle about feeling hollywood is best left off for the guys that build their cars to meet other folks opinions. If that's the case, well...buy a Yugo. Without a doubt you'll have all kinds of attention.

That's true. It sits in a crappy neighborhood so it won't be on the street anytime soon.

I might cruise over there this weekend and see if he is willing to sell. It looks like more of a project than my capabilities.

It doesn't hurt to stop and ask about it to see if the guy would sell it. Hopefully he's not one of them people that watch the B/J auctions and thinks he has a gold mine sitting in his yard. I had a 73 satty that had a sunroof. It would be a cool first car for your daughter.

Twins would be great!

Got mine in rattle can primer just so it wasnt so patchy from all of the body work I had been doing. The yellow one is the "other guys". lol

I would snatch that up if I could. I've been wanting another one of that body style for a long time.

What would be a fair price? I was thinking 5-800. Assuming that it doesn't run.

yeah...depeneding on the condition, frame, floors, etc, and what you want it for.

There was one of these at the wrench apart last month. I pulled the small block/904 length driveshaft and rear trans mount, and the factory AM radio. There was a few more salvageable parts on it, but the yard crushed it to make space for more 90's FWD Junkers and Sebring ragtops...

I've seen much worse.

I just passed on a 74 318 RR that could have been saved, but was a big project at $500.

I did get a rallye cluster that was laying on the floorboard for $20.

What exactly are you dissapointed about?

You got a fairly clean and straight car that appears to be the only roadworthy one around for miles, and you know where a potential parts car or second project is...
