Sorry for the repost but it wasn't getting much attention in the interior section.

I Bought these items off eBay and now I'm not sure what I have. They where listed as "62-65 B-Body - off a 64 Dodge Polara".

I assume the large parts are for the base of the seats. The 3 "angle" pieces are for the seat back upright corners, but why 3 of them? Lastly why are the hinge covers different lengths?

Better view of the hinge covers.

thanks, Bob

The long curved pieces look to be from a early chrysler 300 series, I could be wrong on that. the long straight pieces are for the 62-65 bucket seats that fit along the base and sides of the seats. The 2 short curved pieces are for a bench seat, not sure of the year(s) and if memory serves the longer one goes on the drivers side.

Seat Trim

DSC02734.JPG5.7 is correct.
The short curved pieces are hinge covers for the bench seats. The Short one goes
on the drivers side and the Long one goes on the passengers side hinge.
They use a special metal clip for the screws and if you don't have those you can make them from 20Ga sheet metal.

The Two longer straight pot metal pieces go onto the rear sides of the bench or
bucket seats. 63 for sure Left is #2440153 and Right is #2440152 and are pot metal.

The Three you have look later like maybe 64 or 65 which I think are stamped sheet metal. I'm not sure about the other parts. I think all are quite rare and hard to find.

Thanks for the info. My pieces are definitely stamped parts. How do they attach to the seat backs?

The side pieces attach to the back of the seat frames by Two trim screws about an
inch long. Mine were missing and I looked at pictures to determin the approximte position then probed for each hole with an ice pick.

Good luck!

What a great site! This would be next to impossible without all the good folks helping out!
