Putting my refinished stuff back on my engine. Put valley pan on and can't seem to get intake lined up. I get two bolts started in one side and the other side doesn't line up. I got one bolt started and tried tightening it and I could see it was putting grooves in the lower part of the hole in the manifold. I can get bolts started in either side but only one side at a time. Tried to kinda lift manifold and split the difference but can't hold the manifold up and start a bolt in both sides at once. :angry1:. It's been a real lot of years since I did this last and it wasn't on a mopar. I know it can't be that hard, am I just stupid? Is there a trick or am I missing something here? :tard:
And no I wasn't trying to put it on with those bolts in there
