My car is orange but has a black interior(seats, carpet, door panels). Did the factory paint the floors, package tray, inside firewall to match the outside or inside of the car. When I took all my interior out, it was orange and there was an "X" marked on the backseat support, so I know that is original and I've already painted my door on the inside black, Just trying to restore the car close to what the factory did. Thanks.

The whole car should be body color except the inners of the doors and the removable metal pieces below the rear windows - if the interior was coded different than the exterior. So I would say what you found in yours is correct.
