I'm sure most of you if you've ever read one of my post know that I am always taking on side jobs to fund my Charger build and do all of it myself to save a buck "well nothings changing". We got a pretty healthy sum back on our income tax and had plans to buy a few high dollar items to finish the car "yeah right". As it turns out my wife has had to go to the Cleveland clinic a few times for test and they informed us it has to be paid "now". Money all gone "go figure" so hear we go again, fixing a 5 speed Jeep tranny and replacing a front clip on a Nissan Extera just to buy some parts. It never ends

Pal, I'm with you! The universe KNOWS when you get a windfall, then throws you a curve. I spend alot of time on C.L "bottom-feeding". My term for looking for anything "undervalued". Stuff that i can buy, tweek, and flip. Fast!

I've had the same kind of year with my X coming out of the wood work tyring to beat money out of me from a divorce going back to 94, her filing with state social services, them garnishing my wages, water heater going out, cars broken, then the state ruling in my favor but not returning the 4K plus 3K in attorney fees, in a space of 5 months...it never ends. It led to my new law "If something can go right, it won't."

It's "Murphy's Law", what can go wrong, "will", now all we need is, someone needs to take out freaken' Murphy....LOL... good luck to you & the wifey's health or what ever is going on there

Been there done that, money set aside for parts etc. Then used elsewhere......Hope the wife is ok.

Ruled in your favor.....? Why can't you make her pay for the attorney fees?

Yeah, seems like it never ends. Hope the tests don't turn up anything bad...

Well, they are pretty certain they know what's wrong but not really a fix. She has a sensitive ear, dizziness and headaches which make life miserable and has been to countless doctors to no avail. Finally she saw a neurologist, he claims that at some point she had a bad virus (around the ear area) that killed the nerves that are needed for the ear drum, neck, etc. Since nerves don't fix themselves he's recommending seizure medication for the headaches and physical theropy for the neck. On the plus side, my wife knows a lady that has the same thing and is receiving the same treatment and says it really helped. Man I really feel for her side of the family "all sorts of medical trouble". Thanks for showing concern, this sight really has allot of good guys.

Hope all goes well with your wife, at least they found the problem & have an idea for treatment.

747, I hope you and your wife can get the medicine she needs to help make her feel better. Mine has carpal tunnel in both arms, poor circulation in her feet, borderline anemia. Can't afford to put her on my insurance without it taking at least half my paycheck. On the upside, my youngest will turn 18 this September, so no more child support payments, the wife just started a new full time job with full benefits, so hopefully that means things will look "up" for you also.

Sorry to hear about your wife having medical problems. Hopefully, the treatment will work for her. In the meantime, keep plugging away and we'll keep a good thought for you and your family.

Hang in there man. My wife was nice enough to ask why I hadn't spent our tax return money on car parts. I told her "Cause something terrible is about to happen and we're gonna need it."

Sorry to hear but good to hear she's got a new job, good luck.

Ain't that the truth, it always does. Thanks
