On right now. Danny has the restored car in his personal collection. He's out crusin. A couple pulls HIM over!!! and wants to buy it.
He sells it.

He tried to buy a rough 73 RR last night, to replace the 73 Satty Sebring he sold last year, to the old couple for $34k... The guy that owned the 73 RR thinks it's worth $15k-$18k or more minimum, I personally thought the $12k offer from Kevin the Kount/Danny's mngr., was really way too high $$$ offer, for what they were looking at, let alone the $15k or more {the guy never really committed to a price but said $15k-$18k, he didn't really want to sell it obviously} for a pretty rough, mega mile, unrestored, everything needs to be gone thru & barely a driver 73 RR...

I agree, I was blown away that he refused the 12k offer... I thought that was too much as well. I also though the other one went for too much 34k is a bit much for that 73. I mean it was probably perfect but just don't think they are worth that kind of money. I might be bais but I believe the 68-70 should be bringing more than the latter ones and when 69 roadrunners are struggling to bring mid 20's... Then again I've heard that body style is the next thing.

The last one he tried to get was also a 4spd rb., but still to high on price.

I'm hopeful of setting a record sales price with my 73 RR 440GTX somewhere down the road. First its a rare car, can't tell exactly with Govier shut down but based on another 1 of 1 Govier report, mine is probably a 1 of 1 too. It's also a survivor with one repaint and rechromed bumpers. Providence from day one, 52k miles with original carpets and even trunk mat. Always garaged and factory undercoated, Just a little rust in the lower quarter which I will fix with metal. I'm driving and enjoying for a couple of years then will sell.
Reasons for selling--i respect it too much, it belongs in a collection. I'm in south Fla and its impossible to go to a lot of car shows without getting wet. Has original vinyl roof too.

that show is so fake.i live in vegas, and if you did the stuff he does, you would get shot or run over.people are nice as long as you are not trying to pull them over or invading there property.if he aproched people at shows or left notes i would belive it more.how is it that so many people are home in the middle of the day?most,if not all, decent cars in this town are inside garages.

I remember a low mile, all original, lived in a garage it's whole life, 73 GTX that was for sale on ebay several times over the past 18 months. Beautiful car, but to the best of my knowledge it never sold. First try was at like $45k, last was at $25k.

Hate to bust your bubble but a repaint and rechromed bumper car with 1/4 panel rust isn't a Survivor!!!!

The camera crew probably changes the way people react

I hope you have fun with it in the meantime brother. Looks like a really nice car and with or without Galen's opinion it is is 'rare'. But his number were always based on cars that have been reported to him, not total production so that really doesn't matter one whip. Enjoy it and when time to sell good luck.
