You can bring your tent and camp for $20 for the weekend and they have 24 hr shower facilities on the fairgrounds. BTW, What are you used to paying for a Hotel room in your neck of the woods?

We are staying at the Super 8 in Etter PA ? and our swap space is G-24

Me and my friends are staying at the Days Inn Carlisle North. I will be sure to stop by your space and introduce myself. If anyone else has a space at the meet post it up and I'll be sure to stop by. It'll be nice to put some faces to the names!

When I am in my neck of the woods I sleep at home! I use to live in Carlisle and know how they gouge the folks for the shows...

The price is about the same for comparable rooms around here. Prices go way up for events in the area, Commisioning Week for the Naval Acadamy, Boat Shows, etc.
They call it "Special":ky: pricing. They have shows every other weekend, all season long. The rates are cheaper the further out you go, we stayed outside Chambersburg one year for $65 a night. Stayed in a tent a couple years before we started taking our cars up. It's my vacation now so $118 ain't too bad, you can spend a whole lot more.

Chambersburg is only 20 miles, Hagerstown MD is 44.

Lucky (for me), I'm only an hour drive away in York County. Looking forward to bringing my 5 year old son. My Satellite is far from roadworthy, so we will be enjoying seeing all of your rides and the hundreds of other rides at the show.

For those looking for hotels, you may be able to find decent room rates in the York and/or Lancaster areas. Carslisle is about an hour drive from these areas. I know the US30 meet is also in York this same weekend, but it may worth a try.
