I am going thru the brakes on my car. It seems rather easy to find all the brake parts except the heavy duty rear drums. When I went to get my turned the parts store said they were out of spec. Any good leads on where to buy some new drums would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Those seemed to be the front drums(11x3) unless I was reading it wrong. I need the rear which seem to be 11 x 2.5.

Napa did not have them. Autozone did not have them either. I am really surprised how difficult this is. I am starting to wonder that with so few coronets coming with these brakes that they are not listed. Is there another vehicle that I could look under that had the same brakes?

Snakeoil24- Do you have any part numbers from one of the big warehouses?

If you have no luck local, I can get you the number of a guy on Long Island that will have them.

My 66-300 had 11x2.5's on the rear till I put on disc's. I may still have the drums around somewhere. Go have some Kaukauna Neufachel cheese for me, I can't get it here on the left coast.

I have a pair of rear 11's that are finned. Don't believe finned drums came on 67's tho. How far out of spec did they say they were. I've machined drums that were over before and had no problem with them. Try to find a 10"x1.5 for a 66 /6 Belvedere! I turned them .090 over and they still were not totally cleaned up but they ran two years and I did 'test' the snot out of them at the drag strip...

I think they are now on the Frankie Build there Bro...Unless you had another set???

I had trouble finding the same for my 67 GTX. Let me know if you find a good source. I looked everywhere I could think of to try and buy new ones and never found them.

What cars did the 11" finned drums come on? Super Trac Pak?

The 11finned drum use on the rear for B-Bodies started sometime early 69 i had a survivor 69 GTX built 8/68 and it had the non finned ones on it and a 69 June built Road Runner with 30 thousand miles all original it had the finned drums on the back so sometime in between those months more than likely early to about mid way through the 69 model year BTW both where 8 3/4 rear cars
