i still see people on these internet websites telling people to trickle water thru the carb to clean out carbon in the chambers. we haven't progressed much.I've seen that before, This service manager where I used to work, decided he was going to steam clean a customers engine. By the time he was finished there we're 6 of those in a big block Chevy Blazer. Now that I think about it, that was in 1980. :thinker: I'm old.

Exactly. A set of LY rods fitted with 7/16" ARP rod bolts would be a lot better, (that's what I have in my Coronet's mild 440).
