Power brake booster

Since I installed a Six Pack on my 69 GTX, the power brake booster doesn't seem to be working properly. I now have to press a lot harder on the pedal to stop.

1- Could the installation of the Six Pack affect the functioning of the power brake booster?

2- If not, could the power brake booster be defective?

Do you have enough vacuum to operate the booster? Is it connected to the large port on the intake and have you checked for vacuum leaks?

No leaks whatsoever. Car runs like a dream but has trouble stopping.

I also changed the cam: Xtreme Energy™, XE262H

Yeah, its not the intake but possibly the cam. First, check all connections, you should run the booster off the large port in the back of the manifold. how much vacuum do you have with that cam ? You may need to add a vacuum canister.

This might be a stupid question but how do I measure vacuum level?

Just attach a vacuum gauge to any port with full manifold vacuum. Start the engine & read what you have at idle.
