VERY interested, can you send/post pics?
ill check my intakes for the one you're looking for, is that the factory 4bbl intake? If so, I'm positive I have one, but let me double check...

Hey Hubb, I can't find it, I had it tucked away in my storage spot before moving,
ex-wife probably threw it out knowing her (long story) lol
That's a very sharp intake!
Is it high temp clear powder coated?
i may just have to buy it....been looking for an M1 for my 440...

hey,i'v seen that before,if i did it has high temp coating on it,mark

LOL it was yours Mark, I'm going a different route with my motor, I probably should stick with the original plan it is a damn fine intake, I flip flop second guess too much

... Is it high temp clear powder coated? ...

Bolt, It's a high gloss silver metal flake coating

Just for educational purposes guys, a good powder coating job on any silver, chrome, gold (and even some reds) will have a clear on top of it. Those powders are not UV stable on their own and will oxidize over time. Without the clear coat on top, you'll end up having to polish it eventually because there's real metal in the powder.

High temp powders aren't really necessary on an intake manifold.

Back to our regularly scheduled For Sale Programming ... :D

well it must have the clear coat cause it's shinier than yo mamma's gold tooth!!

Not necessarily ... hundreds of powders have a 90%+ gloss rate on their own. Hopefully yours was cleared too. Good luck with the sale / trade! :D

Got a questions for you Ms. Chick.
Since the intake spends its life under a hood away from UV rays could the clear coat be skipped? Or is the powder like a 2 stage paint, the clear gives the shine?

It CAN be skipped, yes ... but over time the powder will still oxidize. Opening your hood at every car show every weekend will accelerate the process.
