Bought a set of Super Stock seats for the Coronet from a fellow board member.
did a test fit. did any one fabricate brackets to raise them a little off the floor? I don't like how low they sit right on the floor boards with the aluminum brackets.

Let's trade, my factory bucket brackets for your aluminum ones! To me, mine sit high, and even though they are adjustable, IMO, still not what I want. Try your factory brackets and see how you like them.

I am also using repop brackets for the A100 seats. I bought square tubin 1 inch by 4 " and I laid the steel flat on the floor and positioned the alloy brakets to these steel pieces. My seats are more secure, and riase the line of sight of the driver by a full inch which can make a big difference. If you use this method be sure to taper cut thethe ends of the steel fabbed brackets to put some angle on the ends for style.

I bought some re-pop brackets on Ebay about 6 years ago. They look a litter taller than others. The outer brackets measure about 6 inches high. I'm a big guy and they sit just about right. Also, sorry I guess the flash make everything look pink, it really is red :shruggy: DSCN3278.jpgDSCN3276.jpgDSCN3274.jpg

Don't lie, you to pink interior, lol!!

My fingers aren't moving as fast as my brain! It should have read......you do to have pink interior.

His car is really nice, and loud!!

your brackets look a lot larger than the ones that came with my seats. did you use the stock seat mounting holes or did you have to drill new holes??

You might have the A body seat brackets! How tall are yours?
