Need the power of the WWW interweb to find a decent hood for this truck. It's rich in racing history and it's the last HARD part to find.
Hard to believe that pick up truck doors are the same as all the "D" series trucks.

can I post a photo of possibly the truck ?

you might have a better chance of finding that pot of gold than that hood

He says he has another as well, but I wouldn't pay that much for a hood either.

That '63 deserves a great hauler like that!...and you have the room to keep it!
....you are blessed!:icon_winkle:

Sonny,
I'm not that blessed. This hauler belongs to a very good friend of mine who is also into MOPARS.My car is at his shop getting my fender and stuff repaired.I am looking forward to the finish of this project and to get the A/C working so I can take it to some nostalgia events.
It will be quite the sight when my junk rolls outta the back of this hauler!!

Anyone else have any referrals for me to find a hood????????????

Thanks y'all for the tips.:icon_sunny:

While this truck came with a 413 in it,it now sports a Cummins with an auto trans that was donated by a wrecked Ram.The dash from that ram was grafted into it also.:icon_mrgreen:

Sweet rig for sure!
Have a dream of building something like that to haul tractors. 12V, twin turbos and a 6spd.

They are dumping a chitload of time into the sheetmetal. Will still buy a nose & doors when a rustfree truck is found west of the Mississipy river.
